The privacy of our website's visitors is important to us at MKKM. This Privacy Statement is intended to outline the procedures we use to respect the privacy preferences of visitors to our website, www.mkkm.in. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

We collect information from you in order to provide services such as processing donations, providing receipts and tax exemption certificates, sending regular updates about the work we do for children, responding to your questions, and informing you of new opportunities to better help India's deprived and marginalised children.

Personal information we collect may include, but is not restricted to, your name, mailing address, date of birth, PIN code, telephone numbers, mobile phone numbers, your organization's name, email addresses, credit/debit card information, bank information, or billing information, depending on the type of communication or transaction.

WHERE AND WHEN WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you make a gift, request contact from us, register for an on-ground event, pledge support for our work and campaigns, or apply to work or volunteer with MKKM, we ask for your personal information. This information can be obtained over the phone, via the internet, via email, or through face-to-face conversation..

INFORMATION SECURITY

MKKM has put in place the essential security measures, and your personal information is only accessible to designated workers. All transactions are completed on a secure server. SSL - Secure Sockets Layer — encrypts the information you provide on the contribution transaction page (you will see a green padlock icon in the left hand side of the address bar in your browser). Simultaneously, the website address in the address bar at the top of the browser screen begins with a 'https' rather than a 'http.' Paytm verified account was used to perform and process payments, donations, and other transactions. And any issue that arises as a result of it is subject to all Paytm policies.

DND POLICY

Even if this mobile number is on the DND/NCPR list under TRAI regulations, I agree and consent to receive all communications at the mobile number supplied. I also give Company permission to share/disclose the information with any third-party service provider, affiliates, group companies, their authorised agents, or third-party service providers for that purpose.

MKKM or their third-party service provider, as well as any affiliates, will use a third-party platform to make calls and send SMS/Email.

MKKM MAY SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

  1. MKKM will never deliberately share your email addresses, phone numbers, or financial information, except in the restricted instances outlined below.

  2. Credit/Debit Card Transactions, Electronic Fund Transfers and Payments by Cheque: 

    We use third-party providers to provide donation options such as checks, credit/debit card payments, and electronic fund transfers. While your information may be shared with these third parties, we make every effort to ensure that all third-party service providers maintain strict confidentiality of personal information. We cannot, however, guarantee your privacy because we do not have complete control over these third parties.

  3. Necessity: 

    If MKKM believes that there has been some improper activity with or on our website/webpages, communications, charitable services, personal or real property, or if we have reason to believe that any user of the MKKM website, our donors, employees, partners, vendors, or others have been harmed, we will disclose (we may or may not notify you) personal information as we deem appropriate.

  4. Required by Law: 

    If any government or legal body requests information from us as a result of a law or legal compliaance, we reserve the right to provide it.

  5. Merger, Acquisition or other Corporate Restructure: 

    If we are involved in an acquisition, merger, or other transfer of control or sale of assets, we may also transmit your personal information to a third-party successor in interest.

  6. Requesting Communication: 

    We have a number of suppliers on board who help us with a variety of donor-related operations, such as sending direct mail, emailers, greeting cards, making phone calls, and so on. We may share information about you, such as phone numbers and email addresses, with these organisations so that they can execute these services on MKKM's behalf.

CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS

MKKM is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users and has a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation, abuse, trafficking, sextortion, or any other activity that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

Prohibited Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

MKKM strictly prohibits the use of its website, application, services, communication channels, or other platforms for:

  • Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, distributing, storing, or promoting CSAM.

  • Sexually exploiting, abusing, or endangering children.

  • Grooming or attempting to groom a child for sexual exploitation.

Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Users can report suspected child sexual abuse, exploitation, inappropriate conduct involving children, or suspected CSAM through our available in-app reporting/feedback mechanism or by contacting our designated child safety contact.

MKKM will review reports concerning child safety and take appropriate action in accordance with our policies and applicable laws.
